Shivaji is the founder of Maratha dynasty[1] and a warrior king of Maharashtra. He is also known as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
Chhatrapati Shivaji was born in the Shivneri Fort in Maharashtra on 19 February 1630.

The book 'Shivbharat' written by Kavindra Nevaskar on the orders of Shivaji Maharaj mentions that Maharaj was in Karnataka for the first 12 years. (The same is mentioned in Sabhasad and Chitragupta Bakhari.) And when he came to Pune, he brought women. ‘Women’ is definitely more than one.
Shivaji Maharaj was married to Saibai in 1641, which means Saibai is one of those 'women'. And according to Shivdigvijaya Bakhari, the second is 'Sagunabai'. (There is no mention in any other source that Shivaji Maharaj was married to Sagunabai before Saibai, so let us assume that Maharaj's first wife was "Saibai".)}

Maharaj's third marriage took place in 1653 with Putlabai, daughter of Vithoji Mohite Amirrao Nevaskar, a resident of Pune. Sambhaji Mohite (the same mama who was caught by Maharaj for taking bribe at home and then sent to Shahaji Maharaj in Karnataka, the same uncle of Sambhaji Mohite Putlabai.)

Shivaraya's fourth marriage It happened secretly during the Jawali campaign in 1656. Lakshmibai was the daughter of a thinker. Maher's name is Jayashreebai. Maharaj was 28 years old at the time of this marriage and Soyarabaisaheb was 8 years old. That is why he became Rajaram Maharaj at the age of 40.
